Vacancy: Senior Programme Officer (Education)
Neem Foundation is hiring a Senior Programme Officer (Education) to lead and strengthen our education initiatives in Nigeria. This role requires a passionate leader with technical expertise and a strong track record in education programme management.

Position: Senior Programme Officer – Education
Location: Abuja, Nigeria (with potential travel)
Contract: Full-time
Reports to: Head of Programmes

Key Responsibilities

– Lead the design and implementation of education programmes and projects
– Develop training curricula and teacher support models to improve learning outcomes
– Provide technical guidance to programme staff, partners, and stakeholders
– Build relationships with government agencies, donors, and education stakeholders
– Coordinate monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to measure programme impact
– Contribute to fundraising and proposal writing to sustain education initiatives
– Represent Neem Foundation in education networks and advocacy platforms
– Supervise and mentor junior programme staff.

 

Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field
– Minimum of 7 years of experience in education programme management with NGOs, development agencies, or education institutions
– Proven expertise in teacher training, curriculum development, or education system strengthening
– Strong skills in programme design, fundraising, and donor reporting
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
– Solid understanding of Nigeria’s education sector, policies, and challenges
