We are hiring for the following roles:
- Media Officer
- Procurement Officer
- Monitoring and Evaluation Officer(M&E)
Role Location: Abuja , Nigeria – Hybrid (Candidate must be based in Abuja, Nigeria)
Job Summary:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing monitoring and evaluation systems to track program performance, outcomes, and impact. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis and interpretation, and a passion for using data to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
> Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and systems to track program performance and impact
> Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
> Develop and maintain databases to track program indicators and outcomes.
> Conduct regular monitoring visits to assess program implementation and provide feedback.
> Collaborate with program staff to develop evaluation plans and reports.
> Analyze and report on findings, trends, and lessons learned.
> Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to program staff on monitoring and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
Education
> Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, statistics, evaluation).
> NYSC Certificate.
Experience and Skill
> At least 2-3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or a related field.
> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
> Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Tableau).
> Excellent writing and communication skills.
> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
> Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
> Experience with randomized control trials (RCTs) or quasi-experimental designs.
> Familiarity with donor reporting requirements (e.g., USAID, UN, Embassies). Experience working in Northern Nigeria and NGO space.
