Position: Livelihood Officer
Location: Zamfara State
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Implement and monitor livelihood programs through assessments, trainings, distributions, and support for small businesses.
- Engage communities and stakeholders to ensure inclusive, accountable, and impactful project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in livelihood, food security, or economic empowerment programming, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
- The candidate MUST be an indigene of Zamfara State.
- Strong understanding of local economic and market dynamics in northern Nigeria, especially Zamfara.
- Experience with cash transfer programming, vocational training, or small enterprise development.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and report writing skills.
- Fluency in English and Hausa is required; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Fulfulde) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and travel to remote project sites.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data collection tools (e.g., Kobo, ODK).
