Job Title: Malaria logistics and supply chain Manager

Location: Niger, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi & Sokoło

About the Job 

Our client is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Malaria Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to strengthen state-level malaria commodity availability and supply-chain performance through effective forecasting, stock monitoring, redistribution, last-mile coordination, LMIS data use, and capacity building of government and supply-chain stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead malaria commodity forecasting, quantification, supply planning, and distribution based on consumption, stock, and service data.
  • Monitor commodity stocks, expiries, and reporting to identify and address potential stock-outs, overstocking, and supply gaps.
  • Coordinate commodity redistribution and last-mile delivery across LGAs, facilities, and stores, ensuring timely and documented movement of commodities.
  • Strengthen LMIS data quality and support government and LGA teams to improve supply-chain management, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Health, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in health-commodity supply chain management, preferably with malaria commodities.
  • Practical experience in LMIS, inventory management, forecasting, quantification, distribution, and stock monitoring.
  • Experience working with state/LGA health authorities and supply-chain structures, with the ability to build government ownership.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate supply-chain activities and respond to stock risks.
