Job Title: Deputy Malaria Lead/ Service Delivery Lead
Location: Abuja with regular travel to implementing states (Niger, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi & Sokoto)
About the Job
Our client is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Deputy Malaria Lead / Service Delivery Lead to lead the design, implementation, and quality assurance of malaria service-delivery interventions across facilities and communities, ensuring effective integration, capacity building, and improved service delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead programme delivery and ensure achievement of objectives, deliverables, milestones, and commitments.
- Provide clinical mentorship, coaching, and supportive supervision to frontline health workers.
- referral Strengthen pathways and coordination between community, facility, and referral services.
- Identify service-delivery gaps, drive corrective actions, and support continuouUS quality improvement.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Health Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in malaria programming or primary healthcare service delivery, including facility- and community-based interventions.
- Strong technical expertise in malaria service delivery, including malaria case management, ANC malaria interventions, referral systems, and quality improvement.
- Experience in capacity building, mentorship, and supportive supervision of frontline health workers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
