POSITION: Cash Voucher Assistant

Location: Zamfara State

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Support beneficiary identification, registration, and verification using approved targeting criteria and data collection tools.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating cash or voucher distributions and mobile money payments.
  • Submit regular activity reports and provide input for internal and donor reporting.
  • Monitor vendors and markets to ensure compliance with program requirements (in voucher-based assistance).
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in cash transfer programming, voucher assistance, or humanitarian distributions.
  • Experience working with mobile money operators or financial service providers is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Hausa is required; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Fulfulde) is an added advantage.
  • The candidate MUST be an indigene of Zamfara State.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection tools such as Kobo or ODK.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to field sites in Zamfara, including hard-to-reach areas.
