The “Greener Future Workshop” is a year-long mentorship program aimed at empowering African youth, especially fresh graduates and early career professionals, to unlock their potential and achieve career success. With over 70% of sub-Saharan Africans under 30, this demographic represents a significant opportunity for development, yet many young people face challenges in self-discovery and career advancement. A survey conducted in 2024 revealed that over 50% are unaware of essential career skills, and 92% expressed a strong need for mentorship in leadership, career development, and self-discovery.
The program will begin with a three-day virtual workshop for 30 selected participants, guided by six distinguished development experts (mentors).
Mentors will provide additional small-group sessions throughout the year to support participants’ growth, and by the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the skills and inspiration to confidently pursue meaningful careers.
