Are you a young changemaker passionate about meaningful youth engagement in government systems for policy influence, implementation tracking and learning?
The Foundation for Integrated Care (FIC) invites applications from young changemakers across North Central Nigeria to participate in the Youth Engagement in Governance & Policy (YEGP) Fellowship.
The fellowship will strengthen young people’s capacity to participate meaningfully in governance, engage with government systems, generate and use evidence, influence policy and budgets, and promote accountability for improved public service delivery. Only 35 fellows will be selected: five (5) fellows from each of the seven North-Central states/FCT: Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Applicants should:
- Be 18–35 years old at the time of application.

Live, work, study, or actively engage within one of the seven North Central states.

Demonstrate an interest, experience, or involvement in youth participation, governance, accountability, civic action, advocacy, community development, or related areas.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and participate actively in fellowship activities.

Be willing to collaborate with other young people, civil society organisations, community actors and relevant government stakeholders.

Be available to participate in the required fellowship activities throughout the programme period.

Demonstrate a commitment to undertaking practical, evidence-informed social accountability actions during or following the fellowship.
