Role Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of our company’s projects. The successful candidate will ensure the timely achievement of project goals, foster effective coordination among partners and stakeholders, optimize resource utilization, and ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements.
The Project Manager will play a critical role in delivering high-quality outcomes that generate measurable impact for smallholder poultry farmers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end management of assigned projects, ensuring successful execution in line with timelines and objectives.
Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to align on goals and deliverables.
Oversee project budgeting, work plan development, and risk management.
Monitor project progress and prepare timely reports for management and donors.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies and donor requirements.
Facilitate regular field visits and provide technical support across project locations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Project Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects—preferably in agriculture or poultry value chains.
Proven experience with donor-funded projects.
Strong background in budget management, reporting, and developing work plans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools is a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites within the region.
