The Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) and iThe Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board (RSSSSB) is a government of Rivers State body entrusted with the responsibility of managing, supervising, and developing education in the state.

 

Pursuant to the approval, The Rivers State Government under the Administration of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State hereby invites applications from suitably qualified individuals, with passion for classroom teaching, for recruitment as teachers into public primary and secondary schools across the state.

This exercise is geared towards strengthening the Basic and Secondary Education sectors by engaging professionals committed to quality teaching, and fostering academic excellence.

Available Areas:

  • Primary School Teachers in all subjects areas.
  • Secondary School Teachers in all subject areas.

General Requirement:

  • Applicants must Possess a minimum of  Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor’s Degree in any Teaching Subject, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
  • Hold a valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate.
    • Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess an Exemption Certificate.
    • Demonstrate strong Communication and Classroom Management skills.
    • Be computer literate.
    • Possess the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) as the minimum qualification, for Primary School Teachers.

      • Means of Identification (NIN, Voters Card,  international Passport).
    • Recent Passport Photograp
