Job Title: Malaria Data Advisor
Location: Abuja with regular travel to implementing states (Niger, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi & Sokoto)
About The Job
Our client is looking for a qualified Malaria Data Advisor to lead the strengthening of malaria data systems, data quality, analytics, and performance dashboards, ensuring routine data and evidence inform programme implementation, identity performance gaps, and support data-driven decision-making across the five implementing states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and strengthen malaria performance measurement, reporting, and data systems,
- Lead data quality assessments, reporting harmonisation, and development across the six states. dashboard
- Conduct routine data analysis and performance reviews to identify programme gaps, bottlenecks, and inequities.
- Build the capacity of state, LGA, and facility data teams in data analysis, visualization, interpretation, and use.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Health Informatics, M&E, or a related field.
- At least 7+ years of experience in malaria or health-programme data/M&E.
- Strong knowledge of Nigeria’s routine health information systems and malaria indicators.
- Advanced analytical skills using Excel and at least one statistical/Bl platform.
- Proven experience in DQA, dashboard development, and government data-use processes.
