As the company continues to expand its learning offerings, it is looking for a Senior Content Developer who can bring strong content thinking, structure and quality standards to its growing team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Content Developer to lead the creation of high-quality learning materials and set the content and presentation standards for our wider team.
The role involves developing high-quality learning materials for technical and professional courses, creating engaging and professionally designed slide decks, reviewing content produced by other developers, and maintaining strong instructional and presentation standards.
Subject-matter expertise is not required. What matters is the ability to research and understand unfamiliar topics, use AI effectively to support content development, and turn complex information into clear, structured and engaging learning experiences.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Content Development
- Lead development of lesson notes, slide decks, lab instructions, facilitator guides and other learning assets.
- Translate complex technical or professional concepts into clear, structured and learner-friendly content.
- Build a strong instructional narrative — guiding learners from theory to practical application, not just summarising information.
- Create visually engaging slide decks with strong storytelling, layout, typography, diagrams and visual hierarchy.
Quality Assurance
- Establish and maintain consistent content and presentation standards across the team.
- Review work from Mid-Level and Junior Content Developers and provide clear, constructive written feedback.
- Conduct quality checks on all materials before they are submitted for client review, covering:
- Content accuracy and completeness
- Instructional flow and clarity
- Storytelling and learner engagement
- Slide design and visual consistency
- Formatting and alignment with project templates
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies and work with developers to resolve them.
Additional
- Support development of bilingual EN/FR content where applicable.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of experience in content development, instructional design, e-learning, technical writing, curriculum development or a related field.
- At least 2 years at a senior or lead level.
- Demonstrated experience producing professional training materials — slide decks, lesson notes, facilitator guides, workbooks or similar.
Core Skills
- Strong instructional writing and storytelling — you structure information into a clear learning journey, not a summary.
- Strong slide design and visual communication — typography, hierarchy, spacing, layout and diagrams.
- Strong quality assurance instincts and attention to detail.
- Ability to review others’ work objectively and give actionable, written feedback.
- Strong research skills — you locate and cross-check primary sources rather than relying solely on AI output.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, ideation and drafting while maintaining quality control and human judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal English at C1 level or above.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time and meet deadlines without close supervision.
Nice to Have
- French language proficiency at C1 level or above.
- Experience working on cloud infrastructure, IT or technical training content.
- Familiarity with instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE or Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy.
