Job Description
- The role provides legal and commercial advice to support the business and mitigates risks in transactions.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal & commercial advisory to businesses & functions
- Legal drafting
- Review and negotiate contracts drafting and review.
- Undertake research to support advisory.
- Facilitate periodic review of laws and regulations.
- Provide support for special group wide projects – Transaction advisory for mergers, acquisitions & divestitures, due diligences etc.
- Any other tasks assigned by Line Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in law (minimum of second class lower).
- At least 5 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate commercial legal practice
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Professionalism and high ethical standards
- Great team player to support cohesive operations in the Legal
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Good written & verbal communication skills.
