At Plan International Nigeria, empowering young people is not just part of what we do. It is at the heart of our mission.
That is why, in collaboration with Oracle Volunteering, we created the Thrive Programme to help young people in Nigeria level up with the skills, confidence, and tools to shine in today’s competitive job market.
From bridging the gap between school and real-world opportunities to boosting employability, Thrive has already mentored and graduated 38 amazing young people, many now thriving in great jobs and driving impact in their communities.
And now, it’s official, Thrive Programme 3.0 is here! And we are keeping the momentum alive, opening up new opportunities for even more graduates to learn, lead, and thrive.
Criteria for Selection
1. Interested applicants should either record a short video (1 min max, MP4) or write a 400-word document (400 words; single-spaced; Arial font 12; in English only) detailing;
• Why applicants are interested in the program
• How the program will be of benefit to the applicant in the long run
• What makes them the best candidate
2. The video must be clear and steady with minimal distractions and background noises, recorded with the application facing the camera, showing face and shoulders.
3. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not older than 30 by 1st October 2025
4. Adolescents, young women, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
