PrimeTime Media Consulting is seeking dynamic and creative Freelance Video Journalists based in Abuja and Katsina to join our growing content team. This role is ideal for young, passionate storytellers who are ready to capture compelling stories for social and digital media platforms.
Location: Abuja and Katsina
Type: Freelance
Age Limit: Applicants must be 35 years or younger
Availability: Must reside in Abuja or Katsina and be willing to travel as required
Key Responsibilities:
– Shoot high-quality video content (interviews, documentaries, short videos, events, etc.)
– Edit raw footage into engaging short-form videos using mobile or desktop editing tools
– Collaborate with producers and editors to deliver timely and impactful stories
– Operate video journalism kits independently and ensure proper file management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Proven experience in video journalism, content creation, or related fields
– Proficiency in using smartphone or DSLR cameras for video recording
– Strong editing skills using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar
– Good storytelling ability and visual creativity
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Fluency in English and Hausa
