The Head of Programs Development and International Relations at King Hussein Foundation


Job Summary
The Head of Programs Development and International Relations plays a key role in shaping and executing the King Hussein Foundation’s fundraising strategy across its various institutions. This position is responsible for cultivating and expanding a network of global donors, identifying new funding opportunities, and leading the process of proposal writing, submission, and follow-up.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the Foundation’s initiatives.
• Conduct thorough research to identify local and international fundraising opportunities and potential donors.
• Build and maintain a robust database of existing and prospective donors.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements by evaluating a wide range of funding opportunities, including Solicitations, SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, and ITBs.
• Collaborate with KHF institutions to gather materials and manage the proposal process from inception to submission, including handling donor portals.
• Prepare high-quality proposals and concept notes for local and international donor community, including logical frameworks, theory of change, graphics, and any other related documentation.
• Foster and nurture strong relationships with potential donors across various sectors.
• Develop and deliver impactful presentations to engage potential donors and key stakeholders.
General Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or other related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in writing proposals for NGOs.
• Fluency in English- written and spoken.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging, and deadline-driven environment.
