Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.

Job description

What you will do in this role

Provide technical support for sustainability and transition planning activities at the state level.
Support the documentation of state-specific transition and workforce absorption plans.
Support engagement with state government stakeholders on sustainability initiatives
Assist in tracking progress against transition milestones.
Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
Contribute to sustainability-related reports and technical briefs.

Minimum recruitment standard

Qualifications and experience we look for

A first degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in health systems strengthening or transition planning, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of health system sustainability approaches.
Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
