Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.

Job description
What you will do in this role
- Provide strategic and technical guidance on program sustainability and transition planning.
- Lead the development of transition roadmaps for donor-funded interventions, including workforce absorption into government systems.
- Support engagement with state governments on sustainability planning and resource mobilization.
- Guide the documentation of sustainability models and lessons learned.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Represent the project in national and state sustainability and transition technical working groups.

Minimum recruitment standard
Qualifications and experience we look for
- A first degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree is required.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in health systems strengthening or program transition, with a minimum of five (5) years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of donor transition frameworks and government health financing.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
