Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.

Job description
What you will do in this role
- Provide technical support for laboratory service delivery at the state level.
- Conduct routine supportive supervision and mentoring on laboratory testing protocols.
- Support facility laboratories in quality management system implementation.
- Support laboratory data use for program monitoring and quality improvement.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Assist in building the capacity of laboratory personnel.
Qualifications and Experiences
Qualifications and experience we look for
- A first degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in laboratory services, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing protocols and quality assurance.
- Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
