Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.

Job description
What you will do in this role
- Provide technical support for the implementation of HIV/TB services at state and facility levels.
- Support facility teams in strengthening HIV/TB case finding, diagnosis, and treatment adherence.
- Conduct routine supportive supervision and mentoring on HIV/TB protocols.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Support the use of HIV/TB program data for monitoring and quality improvement.
- Assist in building the capacity of health workers on HIV/TB service delivery.
Qualifications and Experiences
Qualifications and experience we look for
- A first degree in Medicine.
- At least seven (5) years of experience in HIV/TB programming, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of national guidelines.
- Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
