Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.

Job description
What you will do in this role
- Provide technical support for the implementation of malaria interventions at state and facility levels.
- Support facility and community teams in delivering quality malaria case management services.
- Conduct routine supportive supervision on malaria diagnosis and treatment protocols.
- Support the use of malaria surveillance data for program monitoring.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Assist in building the capacity of health workers on malaria case management.

Minimum recruitment standard
Qualifications and experience we look for
- A first degree in Medicine, Public Health, or a related health field.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in malaria programming, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of national malaria guidelines.
- Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
