Catering Assistant at Enugu Air Limited

Enugu Air is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to support the smooth delivery of catering services for passengers and crew.

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, handling, packing, loading, and distribution of meals and refreshments while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, quality, and service in line with company and aviation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, packing, and arrangement of meals, snacks, and beverages for flights.
• Ensure meals and catering items are correctly prepared and supplied according to flight requirements.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of catering supplies, equipment, and meal carts.
• Ensure catering items are properly checked, counted, labelled, and organized before dispatch.
• Support the timely delivery of catering supplies to aircraft.
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness of catering areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow approved food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
• Check catering supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of catering supplies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of BSC or HND.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, restaurant operations, or a similar environment is desirable.
• Experience in airline or airport catering is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict operational timelines.
• NYSC: Evidence of completion or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme
