Job Title: Turnaround Cordinator
Location; Enugu, Lagos, Kano
Job Description
Enugu Air is seeking a highly organized and operationally focused Turnaround Coordinator to coordinate all ground activities required to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely turnaround of aircraft.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination between the flight crew, cabin crew, ground handling teams, engineering, catering, passenger services, ramp operations, and other relevant stakeholders to support safe and efficient aircraft departures.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all activities associated with aircraft arrival, turnaround, and departure.
- Act as the central point of coordination for all turnaround activities at the station.
- Monitor turnaround timelines and ensure all activities are completed within the required schedule.
- Coordinate with Passenger Services, Ramp Operations, Engineering, Cabin Services, Catering, Fuel, and other service providers.
- Monitor passenger boarding and disembarkation activities to support on-time departures.
- Ensure baggage loading and unloading activities are properly coordinated and completed on schedule.
- Coordinate aircraft cleaning, catering, fueling, water servicing, and other ground support activities.
- Maintain accurate turnaround records and prepare relevant operational reports.
- Support the achievement of the airline’s On-Time Performance (OTP) targets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NCAA regulations, airport procedures, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Ground Operations Manager or designated management personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or HND.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in airline operations, airport ground handling, ramp operations, passenger services, or a related aviation environment.
- Previous experience coordinating aircraft turnarounds is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of airport and airline ground operations.
- Knowledge of aircraft turnaround procedures and ground handling processes is an advantage.
- Relevant aviation or ground operations training/certification will be an added advantage. .
- NYSC: Evidence of completion or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme
