The Almajiri Child Right Initiative (ACRI) is inviting passionate, committed, and impact-driven volunteers to join the team for the National Literacy Challenge 2026 in Kano, Nigeria.

The Almajiri Child Right Initiative (ACRI), in partnership with Universal Learning Solutions, is hosting the Inaugural National Literacy Challenge on 8 September 2026 in Kano, Nigeria, under the theme “Literacy for Hope and Inclusion,” we aim to unlock every child’s potential to read, learn, and lead.
We’re seeking passionate volunteers to help promote literacy, support inclusive education, protect children, and build hope.
We’re recruiting volunteers to serve on the following committees:
- Programme and Content
- Logistics and Venue
- Partnership and Guests
- Fundraising and Sponsorship
- Media and Communication
- Child Welfare and Safeguarding
