Job Title: Program Assistant

 

Location: Abuja, Nigeria (with occasional travel)
Reports to: Project Coordinator
Contract: One-year renewable

 

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Program Assistant to provide Coordination support for the implementation of a multi-year clean energy and economic development programme. The role involves coordinating partners, supporting stakeholder engagement, managing programme documentation, and ensuring the effective delivery of meetings, workshops, and project activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

● Support coordination of programme partners and monitor deliverables, timelines,
and action points.
● Organise meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements, including logistics
and documentation.
● Assist in preparing reports, concept notes, presentations, and other programme
materials.
● Maintain programme trackers, records, and documentation.
● Support communication with partners, consultants, government agencies, and other
stakeholders.
● Provide administrative support to the Project Coordinator and undertake other
programme coordination tasks as required.

 

Qualifications and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
● 2+ years of experience in programme or project design and development.
● Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
● Experience supporting development, climate, energy, or multi-partner programmes
is desirable.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with project
management tools is an advantage.
