Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our business growth initiatives.
- The successful candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, and supporting the sales and business development team in achieving organizational goals.
- This role provides valuable hands-on experience in sales, client engagement, market analysis, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and generating new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors.
- Support lead generation activities through calls, emails, social media, and networking.
- Maintain and update client and prospect databases.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Schedule meetings and follow up with prospective clients.
- Support the business development team in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND, B.Sc.
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

- Number of leads generated.
- Number of client meetings scheduled.
- Conversion of prospects to qualified leads.
- Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Contribution to business growth initiatives.
