Position: PROTECTION SUPERVISOR
Location: Zamfara State
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Lead and supervise protection teams to deliver quality case management, outreach, and community-based interventions.
Coordinate, assess, and report on protection activities while ensuring mainstreaming and stakeholder engagement.
University degree in Law, Social Work, Psychology, International Relations, Human Rights, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in humanitarian protection programming, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of protection principles, case management, and the humanitarian coordination system.
The candidate MUST be an indigene of Zamfara State.
Experience working in conflict-affected or displacement contexts, preferably in northern Nigeria.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in English and Hausa is required; fluency in local languages (e.g., Fulfulde) is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and protection data collection tools such as Kobo or ODK.
