We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: MEAL Assistant

Locations: Borno & Zamfara
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing data collection tools (e.g., questionnaires, checklists).
  • Collect, enter, and manage data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date databases.
  • Participate in data verification and quality control.
  • Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation plans and frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Assist in conducting field visits and data collection activities.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide M&E support to project staff.
  • Assist in identifying lessons learned and best practices from project implementation.
  • Support the development and dissemination of learning materials.
  • Contribute to the improvement of M&E systems and processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of workplans, budgets, and M&E plans.
  • Support the development of project reports and other documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, social sciences, project management, or a related field).
  • Experience: Some experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a development or humanitarian context.
