We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Officer
Locations: Maiduguri Metropolitan Council – MMC (Jere) – Borno & Zamfara
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; coordinate project activities and tasks; and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders; manage stakeholder expectations; and ensure timely updates and reports.
- Track project progress against timelines and budgets; identify potential issues and risks; and prepare regular project reports and updates.
- Support the allocation and management of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including organizing meetings, preparing presentations, and managing project documentation.
- Check and cleanse data to ensure compliance with business rules, prepare reports using visualization software, and identify process improvements to support efficient delivery of the project
- Prepare meeting and consultation paper packs as required, provide support and assistance with planning, implementation and evaluation of activities, and maintain and develop orderly and accurate digital copy of meeting and consultation records.
