Data Enumerators – Bauchi State at National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)


Overview
The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Management Board (SPHCMB), with technical assistance from the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), are commencing the Integrated Enumeration (IE) and Walkthrough Microplanning exercise. This initiative is a critical component of state-wide health system strengthening, designed to improve the accuracy of health data for better resource allocation and service delivery.

Role Summary
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Data Enumerators to support this exercise. The successful candidates will be responsible for gathering precise community-level data and participating in the physical walkthrough mapping of wards to ensure comprehensive health coverage planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct household enumeration and data collection using designated mobile digital tools.
• Participate in the physical walkthrough microplanning exercise to identify and map community health structures.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all data captured in the field.
• Collaborate with community leaders and local health officials to facilitate smooth data collection.
• Submit daily reports and sync collected data to the central server as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Residency: Applicants must be current residents of Bauchi State. Applications from non-residents will be automatically disqualified.
• Education: Minimum of an OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in using smartphone-based data collection applications (e.g., KoboCollect, ODK, or similar).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and the local language (Hausa) of the assigned community.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical movement within communities.
• Integrity: High level of transparency and commitment to accurate data reporting.
