Job description
What you will do in this role
- Manage day-to-day financial operations of the project, including budgeting, disbursement, and reporting.
- Supervise finance officers across state offices to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Review and process financial transactions in line with organizational and donor policy.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for management and donor review.
- Support budget monitoring and variance analysis at the project and state levels.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolution of financial discrepancies.
Qualifications and Experiences
Qualifications and experience we look for
- At least eight (8) years of progressive experience in financial management, with experience on USG-funded projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of donor financial compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
