Description

We are seeking ambitious, energetic, and results-driven Junior Banking Specialists (Business Development) to join our client’s banking team.
Successful candidates will support business growth by acquiring new customers, promoting banking products and services, building strong customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase deposits, loans, and other financial product sales.
This opportunity is ideal for young professionals who are passionate about sales, customer engagement, and building a rewarding career in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and acquire new customers, businesses, and prospective clients for the bank.
Promote banking products and services, including savings and current accounts, personal loans, POS terminals, and other financial solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Generate leads and convert prospects into active banking customers.
Drive account opening, customer onboarding, deposit mobilization, and other business development activities.
Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to the bank’s overall revenue growth.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.
Follow up with customers to improve engagement, retention, and product utilization.
Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on business development activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

B.Sc. or HND in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for sales, marketing, customer service, and business development.
Ability to build relationships and persuade prospective customers.
Target-driven, proactive, and willing to work in a performance-based environment.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital banking channels.
Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
