About the role
- To manage procurement and supply-chain operations, ensuring the timely, cost-effective and compliant sourcing, storage and distribution of goods and services that support hospital operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes from requisition to delivery, ensuring value and compliance.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and manage purchase orders and contracts.
- Manage inventory, storage and distribution to minimise stock-outs and wastage.
- Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory and clinical departments on supply needs.
- Ensure facility procurement, sourcing and inventory workflows comply with procurement policies, standards and process guidance issued by the central / HQ supply-chain function.
- Maintain procurement records and support audit and compliance.
- Support cost control and supplier-performance management.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Logistics or a related discipline.
- Completion of NYSC, or a valid exemption where applicable.
Experience:
- Experience in procurement, supply chain or inventory management.
- Experience managing suppliers, purchasing and stock.
Required skills:
- Knowledge of procurement and supply-chain management
- Negotiation and supplier-management skills
- Inventory and cost-control skills
- Attention to detail and compliance
- Effective communication and coordination.
