Applications are open for Cohort 2 of the AGORA Fellowship Program 2026, a nine-month leadership and institution-building fellowship for African leaders who are already creating impact in their fields and want to develop their influence at an institutional and systems level.
The fellowship is designed for mid-career Christian leaders working across business, public service, media, technology, education, creative industries, ministry, social development and other sectors.
Applications opened on September 5, 2026, and will close on November 1, 2026.
About the AGORA Fellowship
The AGORA Fellowship is an initiative of The Agora Global, powered by the Eden Centre. It brings together Christian marketplace leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, policymakers, innovators and social reformers from across Africa.
The nine-month Cohort 2 programme focuses on helping participants develop the skills and capacity needed to build institutions, lead systems and create lasting impact beyond their individual roles.
The fellowship combines leadership formation, institution building, systems leadership, mentorship, strategic exposure, immersive learning and peer collaboration.
Who Can Apply?
The fellowship is designed for mid-career African leaders who have already demonstrated leadership and meaningful contribution in their field.
Applicants are expected to:
- Be African
- Be between 27 and 40 years old
- Have approximately 8–10 years of professional experience
- Be operating at a mid-career or mid-level leadership stage
- Demonstrate leadership experience and measurable contribution in their field
- Have a legally registered business or social enterprise operating in Africa
- Be committed to developing Christ-centred influence in their area of work
The programme is open to leaders working across different sectors and areas of societal influence.

Kingdom Impact Project
Each Fellow will develop a Kingdom Impact Project during the programme.
The project is expected to address a real societal challenge connected to the Fellow’s area of influence. Participants will develop and present their projects as part of the final commissioning process.

The fellowship is partially funded, although the current public information does not state the exact amount covered or the contribution expected from Fellows.
Cohort Size
Cohort 2 is expected to bring together a small group of African leaders for the nine-month programme.
The first AGORA Fellowship cohort selected 15 leaders following a competitive selection process. The organisers assessed applicants on factors including leadership track record, integrity and character, systems-thinking capacity, evidence of impact and readiness for growth and scale.
