Job Title: Video Editor & Content Creation Associate
Location: Abuja/Hybrid
Purpose of the Role
The Video Editor & Content Creation Associate will support the Communications team in the production of video and visual content for AHFID’s AI in Health Summit. The role covers filming, editing, and delivery of platform-ready content in support of the Communications Unit’s content calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Communications team with Video coverage, Video editing and posting for AHFID’s AI in health Summit.
- Produce video content for AHFID’s programs and events, including interviews, explainers, testimonials, speaker clips, highlights, teasers, and recaps, formatted for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Create motion graphics, captions, subtitles, and lower-thirds, and handle color correction, audio cleanup, and final export in line with AHFID brand guidelines.
- Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and final assets.
- Develop content ideas and produce original video and visual content for AHFID’s social media channels, in line with the content calendar and campaign plans.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in mass communication, Film, Creative Arts, Digital Media, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of professional experience producing video content for digital and social media platforms, with a portfolio or showreel of previous work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or capcut, and working knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
