Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) is recruiting qualified and experienced Linesmen to support ongoing network rehabilitation and infrastructure improvement projects within its franchise area. Successful candidates will be deployed primarily to rehabilitation projects within Jimeta-Yola and may be required to work at various project locations as assigned.

Responsibilities
• Carry out construction, maintenance, and repair of distribution lines and associated equipment.
• Install, replace and maintain poles, conductors, transformers, and related network assets.
• Respond to network faults and outages as directed.
• Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Support rehabilitation and expansion projects across the distribution network.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO, ND or NCE, Trade Test Certificate, Electrical Installation Certificate, or any relevant technical qualification
• Previous experience as a Lineman, Electrical Technician, or related field role is preferred will be an advantage
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging field conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out field activities.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures.
