The Women at the Front of Digital Space Fellowship is a six-week hybrid programme by Smart Aid Initiative designed to equip 20 young women aged 18–30 in Kaduna State with practical knowledge and skills in digital democracy, online safety, Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence, misinformation response and digital advocacy. Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Selected fellows will participate in virtual learning sessions, mentorship, peer learning and a two-day physical bootcamp. Please let us know of any accessibility needs for the in-person bootcamp so we can accommodate them. They will also be expected to share their learning with other young women through a virtual step-down session.
Please provide accurate information and answer all questions carefully. Selection will be based on eligibility, motivation, commitment and the applicant’s potential to apply and share the knowledge gained.
WHO CAN APPLY?:
- Girls and young women
- between the ages of 18-30 residing in Kaduna State
- Certificate of completion.
- Access to mentors and a supportive peer network.
- Practical digital tools and learning resources.
- Opportunity to lead a community step-down session.
- Access to a 2-day intensive bootcamp
