About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Growth Associate to support the growth of our business through strategic partnerships, funding opportunities, and market expansion initiatives. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing high-quality proposals and grant applications, building relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting initiatives that strengthen our impact across Nigeria’s agricultural value chains.Working closely with internal teams, government agencies, development partners, private-sector organizations, and other stakeholders, you will help drive business growth, secure strategic collaborations, and contribute to the successful implementation of projects that support agricultural development and smallholder farmers.
Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- •2–5 years of experience in business development, agribusiness, project management, partnerships, grant writing, or a related role.
- •Demonstrated experience in developing grant proposals, concept notes, business proposals, or partnership documents is an added advantage.
- •Good understanding of Nigeria’s agricultural sector, value chains, and the development landscape.
- •Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- •Excellent report writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research.
- •Ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies, development partners, NGOs, private-sector organizations, and other stakeholders.
- •Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
- •High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- •Willingness to travel frequently within Nigeria.
- •Passion for agricultural development and supporting smallholder farmers.
