Description
- The Farm Katsina Limited (TFK) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Dairy Processing Manager to oversee our dairy processing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality yoghurt and the proper handling and storage of fresh milk.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the production of high- quality yoghurt in line with company standards.
- Receive, test, and ensure the proper storage of fresh milk.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Plan and supervise daily dairy processing activities.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize production losses.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality records.
- Ensure dairy processing equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Supervise and train dairy processing staff to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Support the development and improvement of dairy products and processes.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Food Science, Dairy Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5years’ experience in dairy processing or food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of yoghurt production, fresh milk handling, quality assurance, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good record-keeping and inventory management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
