Drug-free and Preventive Healthcare Organization(DAPHO) can be traced to the desire;
“Increased productivity and welfare among supported, capacitated, healthy, and socially included people, who are affected by drugs and drug use.”.
The core focus of the organization is improved healthcare through health interventions in the area of Substance Abuse, Sexual Reproductive Health, and preventive healthcare using the human rights approach to its interventions. The Organization was formed in 2013 as Council for Non-Violence Initiative and formally registered in June 2015 as Drug Free and Preventive Healthcare Organization (DAPHO).
Job Title: Data Collector.
Location: Akwa Ibom
Type: Part time (Contract)
Duration: 3 months (Possible renewal based on perfomance)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine data collection at assigned health facilities and community levels using approved CLM tools.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data collected.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards during engagement.
- Identify barriers, service gaps, stockouts, stigma, discrimination, or other implementation challenges.
- Properly document issues identified in the field and report promptly to the CВО.
- Escalate critical issues identified during monitoring to the Program Officer and M&E Officer.
- Support follow-up on unresolved service delivery concerns.
- Submit timely field reports and data to the CBO.
- Visit the CBO office at least three (3) times monthly for activity review, mentoring, reporting, and feedback sessions.
Eligibility and Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of ND certificate and above.
- Must be a PWUD/PLHIV or PWUD/PLHIV friendly person.
- Attentive to details and good communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with MS package, data entry software, spreadsheets (e.g..
- Excel), and survey tools (e.g.online survey platforms).
- Cultural sensitivity being awareness and respect for diverse cultures and communities, especially when working in different demographic settings.
- Previous experience in data collection in PLHIV, research, or related roles can be beneficial.
- Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements, schedules, or methodologies.
