Job Title: Analyst – Sponsorship Product launches Edutainment, Marketing

Job Identification: 7431
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Mission

  • Assist in the execution, coordination, and performance tracking of sponsorships, partnerships, and events within the Brand and Communications function.
  • Support the delivery of impactful sponsorship initiatives aligned with the overall marketing and brand strategy, working closely with the Manager, Sponsorships & Alliances to ensure seamless implementation, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.

Description

  • Facilitate reports for all sponsorship and events touchpoints, ensuring that return on investment and objectives are met
  • Facilitate all sponsorships & alliances related to brand & communications
  • Drive and complete all sourcing/procurement-dependent activities – POs, upload of motivation, procurement requests, etc.
  • Manage expertise and resource planning and requirements for Technology, Security and Networks Audit assignments, special assignments, and management requests.
  • Articulate knowledge of industry best practices with regard to sponsorships/partnerships, promotions, and events.
  • Liaise with cross functional units to ensure smooth implementation of all sponsorships, partnerships, and events across the segments.
  • Liaise with the legal division in ensuring compliance to all relevant contractual agreements (MOU’s & SLA’s)
  • Assist in the implementation of the various functions in MTNN across all sponsorship pillars and across all segment’s sponsorships/partnerships and events.
  • Implement short and long-term strategy for the sponsorship, promotions and events teams for penetration into the market segments of the Nigerian telecom market
  • Execute the activities stipulated in the brand & communication management plan to ensure that brand and communication objectives are achieved.
  • Assess sponsorship proposals related to brand & communications.
  • Assist in coordinating MTN’s sponsorship activities in the brand & communication’s segments
  • Implement metrics to measure impact of current processes and strategy related to sponsorships and event execution across segments and sponsorship pillars (HV, Youth, Mass market and Football, entertainment, women empowerment, youth and passion, respectively).
  • Monitor audience engagement, brand visibility, and experiential effectiveness across different passion platforms.
  • Coordinate with creative agencies with dynamic and fast-changing requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent activations across regions or audience segments.
  • Ensure consistency of brand standards while adapting to localized execution needs.

Requirements
Education:

  • First degree in a Business related or social science discipline.
  • CIM Certification (Added Advantage)
  • Fluency in English

Experience:

  • 3 – 7 years’ experience which includes:
  • Experience working in a medium-sized organization
  • Experience in sponsorship and Promotions
  • Marketing Experience, either on the client’s side or the agency’s side
  • Experience in executing sponsorship and leveraging plans in the telecom/FMCG sector.
  • Adept in managing multiple time-sensitive projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
