L&Z Integrated Farms Nigeria Ltd incorporated in Nigeria on November 11, 2008, is located in Kano State, as an integrated dairy producer and processor that produce variant of Yoghurts, Fresh milk, Fura Da Nono, Greek Yoghurts, Satchet Yoghurt and Ice cream.

L&Z has established a strong brand in the Nigerian dairy sector; standing out as an indigenous player with good quality dairy products and significant local presence across all six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria. The Farm owns a large herd of cows (a cross breed of Frisian and local cows – Sokoto Gudali), which produces an average yield of 7- 8 litres per cow/day in contrast to 0.69 litres per cow/day from the indigenous breed. Similarly, the Company is an indigenous market leader in the production and processing of drinking yoghurt and sources 90% of its raw milk from local pastoralists across the milk collection centres strategically located in Kano State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner – Commercial

Location: Kano

The Role

  • Are you an HR professional who understands market dynamics, sales incentives, and territory management?
  • In this role, you will not just sit in an office. You will act as a strategic co-pilot to our Head of Commercial, shaping the talent infrastructure behind our route-to-market (RTM)/Distribution-to-retail (DTR) strategies.
  • You will directly support field sales agents, regional managers, and logistics teams to ensure our commercial machinery runs smoothly, ethically, and at peak performance.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Commercial Growth: Partner with sales leadership to align headcount planning with market expansion targets across Northern Nigeria and beyond
  • Optimize Performance: Design, track, and refine KPIs and performance-based incentive frameworks that keep the sales force motivated and accountable.
  • Secure Top Talent: Lead full-cycle recruitment for FMCG sales professionals, implementing rigorous background and guarantor checks for field teams handling inventory and cash.
  • Build Capabilities: Identify training needs and deliver impactful learning programs covering field sales techniques, customer relations, and cold-chain compliance.
  • Champion Employee Relations: Cultivate a high-engagement workplace culture, manage employee relations proactively, and ensure total compliance with the Nigerian Labour Act.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, or in any of the Social Sciences or a related commercial discipline.
  • 5-8 years functional HR experience with at least 3 years in an HRBP or HR Generalist role in the FMCG, dairy, or agribusiness industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives, Membership of relevant professional body like (CIPM, SPHR, SHR CIPD) will be an added advantage.
  • Cultural Fit: – Deep familiarity with Northern Nigerian market dynamics/Pan Nigeria. Fluency in Hausa is highly advantageous for handling local employee and stakeholder relations.
