Job Summary

Arzikin Noma Africa’s seeks a VP, partnership and sustainability to lead Arzikin Noma Africa’s strategic alliance ecosystem and drive sustainability across the value chain ensuring long-term environmental stewardship. community impact and collaborative growth

Tittle: VP, Partnership & Sustainability

Location:Abuja ,Kano and Kaduna

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnerships

●    Develop and manage partnerships with governments, NGOs, impact investors, agribusinesses, international development agencies (IFAD, FAO) to co-fund green agricultural regenerative practices, research institutions and community cooperatives

●    Negotiate MOUs/agreements for joint ventures, funding and resource sharing initiatives

●    Represent Arzikin Noma at global forums (e.g. Climate and Food security summit, National Agriculture dialogues, SDG summits) to attract collaborators and influence policy

Sustainability Strategy

·         Lead sustainability strategy aligned with climate goals, regenerative agriculture practices and certifications standards

·         Set measurable KPIs for carbon reduction, water usage, soil health waste management and biodiversity

·         Oversee sustainability reporting (ESG disclosures) and compliance with international standards

Community & Smallholder farmers Engagement

·         Build programs that support smallholder farmers with training, access to markets, credits and inputs

·         Monitor social impact- livelihood improvement, gender equity and youth inclusion

·         Partner with local communities to embed inclusive governance and land stewardship practices

Team leadership & Culture

·         Lead cross-functional teams in sustainability communications, partnership management and impact assessment

·         Foster a culture of teamwork, fairness, service excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications

●    7+ years in partnership, sustainability or corporate affairs- ideally in agriculture, FMCG or development sectors

●    A Master’s degree in agriculture, business, or a related field or another relevant discipline

●    Experience with ESG frameworks and impact measurement

●    Proven network with institutional partners and ecosystem stakeholders

●    Strong negotiation and cross cultural communication skills

●    Master Degree in International development.

 

  • Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skill with Govt, NGO, FMCG, Development Bodies and Agencies etc
