About us African University Students Platform
ABOUT THE AUSP The African University Students Platform was established in 2020 with the purpose of connecting intellectual African students in the continent and the Diaspora. It is a community-based platform that strives to unite and maximize the potentials of African students in order to foster togetherness, innovation, collective acceleration, and the proliferation of the Africa people for immediate and long-term development of Africa. Its goal is to combat the backwardness and subjugation of Africa through the growing population of African youth, particularly student, in ensuing constant strategic conversations, raising awareness on topical and pressing challenges mitigating the growth of Africa, organizing solution-based online and physical conferences, liaising with groups and government parastatal, as well as engaging other relevant stakeholders. The AUSP aims to ameliorate the problems affecting African youths and the continent in general. This initiative is geared towards stimulating African students around the globe to bear the voice of Africa, leveraging digital tools and the internet to constantly communicate while bridging the gap between African students in Africa and abroad. The AUSP hinges on three major anchors:- “Education, Connection, and Empowerment”, which directs its operations and sets this body apart from every other groups.

The Pan-African Youth Parliament, under the African Union Student Platform (AUSP), is a HYBRID continental leadership and policy platform intentionally designed to shape Africa’s next generation of decision-makers, policy influencers, and Pan-African leaders.
Rooted in Agenda 2063 – The Africa We Want, this Parliament equips young Africans with the skills, discipline, confidence, and vision to move from conversation to action, and from potential to impact.
Format: Hybrid (Virtual & Physical)
Eligibility: Young leaders across Africa & the diaspora (only Africans for Diaspora)
