About YIPF

The Youth Initiative for Policy and Foundation (YIPF) is a youth-led civic organization dedicated to strengthening democracy, enhancing youth participation in governance, and advancing accountability and civic education at all levels.

About the Take Action Campaign

The Take Action Campaign is a nationwide grassroots mobilization initiative designed to inspire active citizenship, promote accountability, and strengthen democracy in Nigeria. Through a network of coordinators at national, state, LGA, and ward levels, the campaign ensures that citizen voices shape governance outcomes from the grassroots upward.

Position: Ward Coordinator

We are recruiting one Ward Coordinator in each political ward across Nigeria to anchor the campaign’s work at the most local level of governance.

Key Responsibilities:

– Mobilize citizens at the ward level for Take Action Campaign activities.
– Organize grassroots outreach, sensitization, and advocacy initiatives.
– Serve as the primary contact for community issues, feedback, and reporting.
– Work closely with the LGA Coordinator to ensure alignment of activities.
– Promote the campaign’s values of integrity, accountability, and inclusiveness.

Eligibility and Qualities:

– Must be resident in the ward of application.
– Recognized as an active community mobilizer with strong grassroots presence.
– Strong reputation for honesty, uprightness, and good conduct.
– Ability to work with diverse community groups, including youth, women, and traditional leaders.
– Commitment to democratic values, citizen participation, and accountability.
