Job Description
- We’re looking for a sharp and detail-oriented medical blog editor to join our team.
- You’ll be responsible for editing and optimizing medical blog content—ensuring that it’s medically accurate, SEO-friendly, and easy to understand.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who’s skilled in content editing and looking to grow their impact in health communications.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit medical blog articles for grammar, clarity, and factual accuracy
- Conduct keyword research relevant to Nigerian health topics and search behaviour
- Ensure content aligns with Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) standards
- Collaborate with medical reviewers and the content team to uphold editorial quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, English, Public Health, Journalism, or a related field
- 2 – 4 years proven experience in editing digital content, especially within health, wellness, or educational topics
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools
- Excellent grammar and attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex health topics for the average Nigerian reader
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress.
Nice to Have:
- Ability to write or adapt original content when needed
- Background in public health or related fields
- Familiarity with the Nigerian healthcare space and cultural context.
