Compliance Associate at GRRN (Remote USA, Nigeria)

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Associates to support our compliance team in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across the US and Africa markets. This role will assist in monitoring compliance, conducting investigations, and supporting compliance initiatives to maintain regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in both the US and Nigeria.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, prepare reports for internal stakeholders, and assist with regulatory submissions.
• Policy Implementation: Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures related to regulatory compliance.
• Training Support: Help develop and deliver training materials on compliance-related topics to employees.
• Investigations: Assist in the investigation of compliance breaches or concerns, including gathering information, analyzing data, and documenting findings.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends and assist in updating policies and procedures accordingly.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing any findings or recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the fintech industry or financial services, with familiarity with US and Nigerian regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
