Locations: Benin – Edo, Uyo – Akwa Ibom, Asaba – Delta, Ado-Ekiti – Ekiti, Ondo, Abakaliki – Ebonyi, Illorin – Kwara, Ibadan – Oyo, Osogbo – Osun, Abeokuta – Ogun and Port Harcourt – Rivers

Job Summary & Responsibilities

• The Ad Hoc Staff member will provide temporary operational support by handling the physical movement of parcels, packages, goods, and other logistics items. The role involves lifting, carrying, loading, offloading, sorting, and arranging items to support efficient warehouse, hub, and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift, carry, load, and offload parcels, packages, and other goods safely and efficiently.
• Sort, arrange, and stack items in designated storage areas, loading bays, and delivery vehicles.
• Assist with the movement of shipments between operational areas and designated locations.
• Handle packages carefully to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement.
• Follow supervisors’ instructions and comply with established operational procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the assigned work area.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of appropriate handling equipment.
• Report damaged packages, unsafe conditions, and operational issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other related manual handling and operational support duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be Male.
• Minimum of a secondary school education.
• Previous experience in loading, offloading, warehousing, or logistics operations is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties, including repetitive lifting and carrying.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Good level of reliability, punctuality, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or public holidays where operationally required.
