Our LOCATE project; a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: CLINICAL CARE SPECIALIST [Imo State] Overall Job Function: This position provides technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and antiretroviral treatment services.

Job description
What you will do in this role
- Provide technical leadership for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of malaria prevention, diagnosis, and treatment interventions.
- Guide the scale-up of malaria case management, chemoprevention, and vector control activities in supported states.
- Ensure malaria interventions align with National Malaria Elimination Programme guidelines and donor requirements.
- Strengthen malaria surveillance, data use, and quality improvement at facility and community levels.
- Support integration of malaria services with HIV, TB, and MNCH platforms.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across the HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platform and progressively transferring functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Represent the organization in national and state malaria technical working groups.

Minimum recruitment standard
Qualifications and experience we look for
- A first degree in Medicine, Public Health, or a related health field.
- A master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field is required.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in malaria or infectious disease program management, with a minimum of five (5) years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of national malaria guidelines and donor-funded malaria programming.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level of integrity and professional maturity.
