Job Title: EV & Charging Operations Lead
Location: Abuja FCT
Reports to: General Manager / Country Operations Lead
Role Summary
Own ProTaxi’s EV availability, charging operations and maintenance coordination, ensuring vehicles are safe, charged and available for productive use.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily vehicle charging schedules.
- Monitor battery health, charging status and vehicle readiness.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose first-line EV/charging faults and coordinate OEM or specialist service partners.
- Maintain maintenance and service records for every vehicle.
- Manage charger uptime and escalate charging infrastructure failures.
- Track energy consumption and cost per kilometre.
- Manage spare parts, warranties and repair vendors.
- Conduct pre-deployment vehicle inspections.
- Establish and enforce EV and charging safety procedures.
Ideal Profile
- Electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering/technical background with hands-on experience in EVs, automotive diagnostics, charging infrastructure, solar/battery systems or modern vehicle electrical systems.
- EV/high-voltage certification is preferred.
Monthly Compensation: ₦400,000 – ₦550,000
